There are many reasons to collaborate with a writer or editor as part of your business team, but here are three of the most basic:

As an editor I can refine a client’s writing and help ensure effective grammar, structure, clarity, and consistency. I can also help you fine-tune your voice and ensure your story sounds polished, professional, and hits your goals in messaging. 

If a client feels confident in the story they crafted, but still require help in looking for errors in the details I can also offer proofreading or line editing services. When I am hired to this I leave your work as-is with no comments regarding development or re-structuring; I will strictly indicate grammatical errors.
